The CBTA
a new approach
Training, according to CBTA, is a new approach to training based on skills acquisition.
As of 1 January 2023, the CBTA programme established by IATA comes into force with the aim of "providing an efficient and high quality workforce that meets international standards". The objective of the programme is to provide the air cargo industry with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties. To achieve this, IATA training courses focus on the acquisition of specific skills that are relevant to the job of each trainee.

CBTA "Provider" accreditation
Holding a CBTA Provider accreditation also allows the training organisation to review all of its training tools in order to improve the delivery, content and evaluation of their courses.
The CBTA is a real step forward for the transport of dangerous goods training sector. It allows us to rethink our training programmes in a more appropriate way in order to provide better expertise to companies, particularly in the monitoring and evaluation of their employees' skills. The features of this programme are in line with BVT's culture and raison d'être: to put its clients and their employees at the heart of the risk management project.
